Mangalore is my home town and I keep traveling in the Bangalore to Mangalore route . I have been traveling in the Bangalore to Mangalore route since 2002 when I came down to Bangalore for higher studies. Since them I have been traveling in the Bangalore to Mangalore route almost every alternative week and sometimes even three times in a month.
I usually take a overnight bus for my weekend travel and if there are some extended holidays I prefer to drive down in my car. Trains have been my last choice in this route due to the time which they take. You can also fly down to Mangalore if you need to reach quickly, but it comes at a premium price.
